Little Sister Entertainment, the newly launched distribution company behind indie thriller The Man In The Trunk (Ace Marrero, Ryan Schwartzman) and Bentonville Film Festival winner Parker’s Anchor (Penny Johnson Jerald, Chris Marquette, Michael Beach), has picked up worldwide rights to distribute the health and wellness movie, entitled BETTER, a brainchild of executive producer and NY Times best-selling author, Jonathan Bailor. Little Sister Entertainment is a boutique publishing and distribution company formed as a partnership between filmmakers Jennica Schwartzman and Marc Hampson built on over 20 years of collaborative experience in the independent film market.
BETTER examines a new way of eating, thinking, and living—presented and endorsed by top doctors at The Harvard Medical School, Johns Hopkins, and The Mayo Clinic. Attempting to end the “diet wars,” BETTER documents the scientific search for a “unifying theory” of eating and living that everyone can use to not only optimize their current diet (ex. keto, vegan, paleo, kosher, halal, etc.), but to cure diabetes, obesity, and the shame driving the broken and misogynistic diet industry.
“Little Sister Entertainment is excited to introduce health and wellness titles and we’re thrilled that BETTER is our inaugural title.” said Jennica Schwartzman, co-founder of LittleSisterEnt.com. Jonathan Bailor added, “We’re honored that Little Sister Entertainment chose our title to be the first in what we hope will be many in the wellness category. We‘re grateful that they see BETTER to be as important to audiences as we do.
